Bennet Extols Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Collaboration in Visit to Rocky Mountain Innosphere

Fort Collins, CO – Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet visited Northern Colorado today to highlight a local, collaborative effort aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and innovative new businesses that are creating jobs and growing our economy.

The Rocky Mountain Innosphere is Northern Colorado’s business incubator for clean energy, tech, biotech, and other innovative startup companies. Among its goals are to “promote the development of a regional entrepreneurial network in Northern Colorado.”

“Collaborative efforts that support inventors and entrepreneurs are critical to creating jobs and growing our economy,” Bennet said. “The Rocky Mountain Innosphere is a perfect example of what’s possible when the public and private sectors come together to support innovation, spur job creation and move our economy forward.”

RMI provides entrepreneurial startup companies with resources such as subsidized facilities, assistance with raising capital, access and connections with academic and government institutions, a network of advisors and mentors, and educational and networking opportunities.
