Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet’s office is collecting emergency information from people who are connected to Colorado who are currently at risk in Afghanistan. The information you provide will be communicated to the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or other agencies as needed. We cannot promise anything, but we are doing everything we can to assist our Afghan allies and their families.

If you are a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident of the U.S., you should ALSO complete the U.S. Embassy's form for assistance facilitating travel to return to the U.S. and sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program.

If you are an individual helping family members or friends exit the country, start by applying for SIV, P-1, P-2 visas and other appropriate visas.

If your family member or friend is not eligible for one of the visa programs, we are limited at this time in our ability to assist you. However, we will continue to post information here as it becomes available.

If your family or friend is eligible and you have information about their applications, please use our form HERE to provide your information to us and your relationship to the family. You can begin to prepare to provide us information about the family by filling out THIS SPREADSHEET. You may send the spreadsheet to and provide your name and contact information in the email. However, we will not take action until you have filled out the webform. We are working as quickly as we can to share these names with the State Department. Please do not send us names that are not eligible for a visa as this slows the process for those that are eligible. In the months ahead we will continue to work on behalf of those who wish to exit the country.
