Senator Bennet Announces New Colorado State Director

Washington, D.C. - Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet announced today that he has hired Julie Levy Duvall to head his Colorado operations, based in Denver.

"As a Colorado native with a wide-ranging background, Julie brings diverse experience and enthusiasm to our team," Bennet said. "Her leadership and deep connection to Colorado will be invaluable as we continue to tackle the major challenges facing our nation and our state."

Previously, Levy served on the Durango 9R School Board, worked on community and economic development issues, was Director of Government and Public Affairs for BP America, and was Partner and COO at a financial services firm.

"I've always respected and admired the Senator's ability to bring people together and find common ground on the most important issues facing our state," Levy said. "I look forward to supporting Michael and our office as we work on behalf of the people of Colorado."

Senator Bennet won re-election this fall and will continue to focus on fighting the dysfunction in Washington D.C., while working to create more opportunities for all Coloradans.

As State Director, Levy will oversee statewide constituent services and community engagement, as well as the day-to-day operations of Senator Bennet's seven regional Senate offices, located in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Durango, Pueblo, and Alamosa.

Rosemary Rodriguez will continue to serve the office as Senior Advisor to the Senator.
