Nov 01, 2022Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Climate, Forestry, and Natural Resources, led U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.), and U.S. Representatives Joe Neguse (D-Colo.), Jason Crow (D-Colo.), Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo.), and Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) in a letter urging the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) to share information about its plan to implement the $10 billion in funding in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to address a backlog of forest management needs.
