Washington, D.C. - Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet today issued the following statement after the Congressional Budget Office released its score for the Republican health care bill:

"Today's analysis confirms what we knew: The Republican health care bill is yet another broken promise to the American people," Bennet said. "A true health care reform bill would not put 23 million Americans at risk of losing insurance. This bill targets the most vulnerable Americans, slashing Medicaid by $834 billion and increasing premiums for older and sicker people. Coloradans deserve better than this hopelessly broken plan."
