Bennet, Colleagues Ask Trump Trade Official to Explain Latest Tariff Decision that Could Hurt American Businesses

Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and ten colleagues today sent a letter to the Trump administration’s lead trade official asking why the administration’s latest round of tariffs on $200 billion of imported Chinese goods did not include exclusions to protect American businesses.
Ahead of the public comment period that began this week for a proposal to weaken methane standards, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet led 21 Senate colleagues in a letter urging the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to extend the public comment period for the rule and provide adequate justification for modifying the national standards.
