Washington, D.C. – Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet today released the following statement on the 75th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor:

“Today, we honor those who sacrificed their lives 75 years ago in one of the most horrific attacks on U.S. soil,” Bennet said. “We owe a debt gratitude to those who perished on that day and to the monumental sacrifice of the Greatest Generation, whose service helped preserve freedom for Americans here at home and for millions around the globe. Their bravery inspires us to this day and it is in their honor that we commit to caring for all generations of servicemembers and veterans. We are grateful for the courageous Coloradoans who have served to keep us safe.”
