COLORADO SPRINGS – On Friday, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet toured Fort Carson with Major General Randy George, Commander of the 4th Infantry Division. Known as the “Best Hometown in the Army,” Fort Carson has approximately 26,000 active duty servicemembers.

“As we face long-term challenges from countries like China and Russia, we must continue to structure and equip our military to retain technological and capability superiority,” Bennet said. “To support our military readiness, it is critical that we have training opportunities like those at Fort Carson. Fort Carson’s troops are among the best trained and most ready in the world, because it is an unparalleled post to train, live, and work.”
