Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet joined 97 members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in a letter to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) urging the agencies to withdraw new guidance from ICE that threatens international students with deportation if they do not take in-person classes this coming academic year.

Following last week’s historic U.S. Supreme Court ruling rejecting President Donald Trump’s repeal of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet joined the entire Senate Democratic Caucus in a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) calling on him to immediately take up the bipartisan House-passed American Dream and Promise Act, which will establish a path to citizenship for Dreamers and immigrants with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) or Deferred Enforced Departure (DED).
