Washington, D.C. - Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet issued the following statement on provisions in the new customs enforcement law signed by President Obama yesterday that will combat the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel:
"I disagree with the President's objections to the anti-BDS provisions in the new customs enforcement law. These are important provisions designed to counter efforts to economically discriminate against Israel. International BDS activities are deeply concerning, and the U.S. government must stand against these unjustified efforts to delegitimize Israel."
