Following the discovery of a bacteria resistant to colistin, an antibiotic of last resort, U.S. Senators Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Orrin Hatch (R-UT) will introduce their bipartisan PATH Act as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017.
Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet introduced an amendment this week to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 that would allow development of retail and housing properties in Commerce City near the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. The amendment removes deed restrictions on land that Commerce City purchased in the early 2000s. Senator Cory Gardner also sponsored the amendment.
