As the lead sponsors of the Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act, U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), member of the Senate Finance Committee, and U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee along with U.S. Representatives Terri Sewell (D-Ala.) and Jodey Arrington (R-Texas), both members of the House Ways and Means Committee, and U.S. Representatives Raul Ruiz (D-Calif.) and Richard Hudson (R-N.C.), both members of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, sent a letter to President Joe Biden urging him to prioritize and promote the legislation’s passage as part of broader efforts to speed cancer research and improve outcomes for patients.
